In the process we discovered that she's half Iranian and was born in Tehran, and that wearing more body paint than clothing is indeed a solid way to get everyone interested in taking your photograph. It's hard to see here, but the stars on her face continue onto her hair, and the colors for Germany, Italy, and the USA swirl around from front to back.
